I bought this to eventually off through the ton of old floppy disks I had therefore I could control them for any information and then finally throw them away. Since the iMac has no floppy disk drive this has trod in to assistant out. Hence far it has worked quite well, although you do need to read the directions first as if you fail to decent eject the disk it will hang up your organisation for awhile. Otherwise, it has worked quite substantially and I’m tardily getting through the sight of disks I have. With no drivers to install it has literally been a plug and exercise capability. Therefore far on my iMac it has worked substantially and has kept me the aggravation of having to off3 notice a Windows motorcar and contain each one. This has been my foremost receive with LaCie and thus far it has been a good one.I do a luck of writing and I save everything on floppy disks. Merely my old computer which had2 a floppy disk drive installed on it broke, and I bought a young computer which to my surprise didn’t have a floppy disk drive. When I viewed the LaCie floppy disk drive online, I ordered it and it was just what I needed. I’m thinking of purchasing a moment one to conk on a instant computer. I don’t know why a circumstances of these new computers LaCie 706018 don’t receive floppy disk drives installed on them? The next time I buy a computer I will make sure that it does experience one.I bought a new computer and of course it does not have a floppy drive. My girl yet uses them at school. Therefore Voila! Amazon solves the trouble as usual. This just plugged decently in, we didn’t eve motivation the included set-up cd included. This works splendid and is so nice and small, tardily to shop in a drawer until needed. Quick shipping equally usual.
